Mergeculture Gallery curates a monthly showcase of local talent for the Downtown "gift shop" - Unlock Tampa Bay.
Local Legacy is a program between our curation division, Mergeculture Gallery and Visit Tampa Bay’s gift shop and retail store, Unlock Tampa Bay. The programming for Local Legacy includes events, in-store products, and highlights local talent through the City of Tampa’s tourism partnership channels.
For this event, we organized and booked the artists, vendors and food truck, documented the event, and curated the artwork to be displayed in the retail store with Art of Jau (Reece Fernando Moore, a prominent local artist specializing in afro-futurism) work as a co-curator during Black History Month.
